About Me
Hiya!! I'm Grace, or you can call me Gracie! I'm a 23 year old artist from northern Canada!I've loved making art ever since I was a baby and had big dreams of working in animation and design. For now though, I'd like to work my way up to having a booth at a convention!

Assignment: Illustrative Story
"It's just a room, but it's all of you."
In order to tell a story with just one picture I had to work through which details to include and which would be better left out. Instead of it being literal, I wanted the scene to represent the timeline of years as they make up a single person. I also chose to keep the second figure the same size through the timeline in order to show that it's actually a personification of the person you think you'll grow up to be.

Assignment: Informational Postcard
"The characters in splatoon love their idols, so what if they got paid to do ads?"
Splatoon 3 introduced personal lockers, which players can customize to their hearts content. Since the world of the game is very focused on it's own culture and celebrities, I thought it would fit that maybe companies would design poster-like ads for players to hang in their lockers as decoration.

Assignment: Faces in Places
"Electrical socket turns into surprised TV girl. Scientists are left just as baffled."
Finding a face in nature can be pretty difficult. Since an electrical socket seemed like a very simple idea for a face, I tried to add other aspects to the character to make the face blend in to the rest of the of the head.
